Biggest problem with using electricity is that most of the electricity produced in the states is from coal and other fossil fuels. Unlike say, France, who has a much larger percentage coming from nuclear, we have politicians here who for some reason feel coal is more environmentally friendly than nuclear. That and the fact we have next to NO mass transit systems unless you live in a large city. _________________ “It’s no wonder that truth is stranger than fiction. i know it seems they are doing exactly what they said the generation before them said "its not our problem let them deal with it when the time come"well what do they plan to do when they run out of coal and oil then they arent going to be able to do anything so it seems as thoe they are just not caring about safety like they say but just dont want to spend money on systems like those.actualy i would love to know what is in place as of plans and such to do when they run out of fossil fuels?????
have u ever been to australia???? i was there and they have a extremely large transportation system for the public in rurual and urban areas it is amazing but they are relying to much on coal they are trying to go nuclear b8ut are unable to get the funding. _________________ In life it is not the destination that matters, but the journey there. |

No, but I have always wanted to visit! I feel like Australia has more of the good aspects in relation to individual freedoms that the United States had during the 1800's with exception to the civil rights problems of the era.
Seems like Australians have more freedom than us any more
Our country has been ruined by it's politicians from both major political parties and corporate greed. _________________ “It’s no wonder that truth is stranger than fiction. Fiction has to make sense.” - Mark Twain |
