hi, its me again 
cant you, admin, make a box at the top of the forumindex site, which shows all new posts and topics. lets say the 5 newest posts. It would make it easier to find the new and current topics.

You can click the View posts since last visit link on the top right of the main forum page. Posts that are made during your current session will also show up.

what is a news box? Actually perhaps it would be easier to include a pull down menu where, after clicking it, it would refresh the current page to only show the unread or newly posted topics in the current forum section. I'm actually writing my own forum script from scratch at the moment and it's something I incorporated into it. Actually that's the reason why I came to this site in the first place. I wanted to get posts from something I was interested in to test it (It's still a long way from being done.) and rather than making them up myself I merely copied soem of the ones on here before I was actually a full blown member.
