so what happened to the idea of appointing new moderators ?
no new ones have appeared on the list yet
or were there no suitable candidates ?

All the mods have full and active lives. We have not abandoned the idea of more mods, we just haven't got round to it yet. (Or we hadn't when I was last able to login almost one week ago.)

'Senior' is reflective of my superior position within the organisation that is the FORUM.
It has not been announced formally amongst existing mods as they hold minor positions of authority and it has not yet been necessary to inform them. I just have access to a GIANT red button which can delete them if I so desire.

Yea it's been a bit busy lately.. We have a good list of applications, just didn't have time yet to make the selection.
Actually I'll be away during the entire month of July (to China), not sure if I'll have an internet connection there.
