every person wants to be well known.many a people were done injustice because they did not receive credit for what they had done for example people like carl sheel did not get credit for their scientific discoveries. this is probably due to the fact that people like him did not know the significance of what they were doing.

I would argue that every person wants to be well known. I have no desire to be famous or known for anything, really. I'd rather not have the bother of people knowing about me and recognizing me. I just do what I do...I don't feel a need to be recognized for it. Well, maybe a slight desire for it is there, naturally, but generally I don't care about or want to be recognized for anything I do. I don't doubt that many people may like to be known for something, I just wouldn't treat it as a standard characteristic in all people. _________________ "There is a kind of lazy pleasure in useless and out-of-the-way erudition." -Jorge Luis Borges
