Hello, I'm still really new to XCode, but I was wondering if anyone one could answer my questions...
1. Can I (and how) make a program like IMovie too edit video clips together?
2. With the question above, how would I make it so I could add effects. I'm talking special effects fire, smoke, etc... _________________

| There's actually some complex processes involved in adding effects. I think it might be possible to past one movie after the other using XCode and iMovie, but adding accurate effects would probably require layering like most (if not all) of those more and less expensive software packages use. Getting it to look really good would absolutely require such software; I can see the issue there though. |

I think you can download a trial version of Maya from their website, not sure though.
Edit: Yeah, HERE it is. _________________ "Gullibility kills" - Carl Sagan

How would I do the layering then? _________________
