Ex-wife of Bill Gates Smile (just kidding, I think he's still married)

I'm guessing the CEO of a major oil company.

One of the highest-paying jobs that anyone can get (as opposed to jobs like CEO of a huge corporation, where getting the job is basically like winning the lottery) is chemical engineering - with a PhD you can usually get around 200k/year if you're any good at it.

President of a third world country.

I don't remember which one it was........ I think Nicaragua. The president took out a loan from the world bank in the amount of about 70 million, took it, and ran to the USA.

The world bank actually expects his country to pay that loan back instead of him.

The highest paying jobs are probably all medical, with a few fields of engineering coming close. At least, those are the highest paying jobs that a person could deliberatly decide to get and have a good chance of success. There are also jobs like being a CEO of a huge company who makes many millions/year, but any given person's odds of getting a job like that are very low no matter how smart of hardworking you are.
