im concentrating on my leaving cert, the final exam one would say.. i need to get a1s for example to get 100 points
a2 for 90
b1 for 85 an so on,
and finaly add up your best 6 subject, to detirmin your total poins out of 600,
then apply for universaty, each course has points assigned to it,
eg docter = 590
science (a general degree) = 350...
its BASED ON popularity of the corse, so if you want a good job (eg lawyer , ytou have to work hard,

tis a good enouf system!

When my kid is older, I'm going to pursue either being an assistant at an Interior Design firm or on my own as a professional organizer. Either way I don't need an education for it in the state I'm in.

Well I threw away a lot of money in scholarships to the #3 engineering school in the country last year because I changed what I wanted to do. I went from Aerospace Engineering to Physics.
Since I threw away that money I am sitting in a cest pool that can barely be called an institute of higher education. Only to decide that I want to do Engineering again because I won't get much in Physics without a doctorate (another 8 years and 80k). So I am wasting a year of my life before I can transfer, this time with out the 25k + monthly stipend in scholarships.

Next year I will be pursuing a B.S. in Engineering (not sure what kind yet) and a B.S. in Physics Education.

I'm going to university for a Biology(Homors)/Education degree in September. Since the first year courses are similar for all science majors, I could change my degree if biology isn't right for me. Including my concurrent education degree, I will be in university for 5 years! After I graduate, I can choose to get an even higher education in biology, go to medical school or get a regular job as a teacher or researcher. There is a brand new medical school that is being built at the university that will be opened in the fall and students that get a degree with my school will have a much easier time getting in.

I just found out that I will qualify for at least $2500 in scholarships, but I will have to work 60+ hours every summer so that I will graduate with very little debt. I don't know if it's worth it to go to school for so long but I'm going. I have to stay in residence with 5 other people in one apartment that is tiny compared to my house. At least I'll have my own room (small though). I'm wondering if I can fit my big desk, desktop, laptop, hockey equipment, 2 guitars (I'll leave the ther one behind), amplifiers, and all my clothes and other stuff in my dorm.

Well, I've been rambling, I have to go to work! bye!

I'm currently doing the first year of Human Resource Management, but will be changing my education in july to psychology (and'll be making a choice between cognitive, biological or industrial/company-psychology) after two years. Should be lots of fun.

I'm currently second year Maths and Physics honours, but I've almost finished for the year - just one more exam. After that I've got a six-week summer scholarship, doing research on properties of Lorentzian geometry - should be fun! Laughing

I'm currently studying a few things online on an online college. I'm just auditing a few classes for I am not interested in a degree at my advanced age. I also like learning about anthropology, archeology and vulcanology.
