There seems to be an influx of new 'idiot' posters with nothing better to do than throw around childish insults and accuse people they have NEVER been in dialogue with of being socks.
I am of course talking of me being the recent recipient of such accusations, all from people whose names are not known to me as I have been away for most the time they have been posting.
Can mods deal with these people please in the same rigorous manner that they deal with other nuisances as they are damn annoying and interrupt good dialogue with their stupid accusations and conspiracy theories.

I think you should take it with a sense of humour, even though it might not always be intended in that way. I can attest to you not being a sock-puppet, nor Selene/Minxy for that matter, but cannot say the same for Quest. If someone accuses you, you can call on me as witness.

I should be flattered really, given my blatant lack of scientific knowledge being called the alleged socky of those that have some!
Meanwhile I am not familiar with Quest, but the name sounds like something SvWillmer would come up with.
This sock business bugs me as I have pic up here and don't want all new posters thinking I am a mad bat who talks to myself.

Some people just have similar styles of posting. And if a new person doesn't have enough experience with several people to be able to tell the differences in their posting styles and/or histories, then they might think they are the same person.
I think it is rather silly for a newer person to jump to conclusions about one person or another being a puppet. It's one thing to suggest that it might seem like a possibility, but another to simply assume it is true. But new is new, and they all have to learn.
Though I have to admit, I'm getting a little tired of this as well - the people may be new, but a lot of the wacky and/or irritating attitudes and opinions seem to repeat themselves in the new gen, and I don't really feel like putting in the effort for round 2. Or 3. Or 4.
Note: there's plenty of worthwhile posters in the new gen as well, but I notice a lot of the types of posting topics tend to repeat as well since the new people never participated in the old discussions. I know I never make any new topics either so I probably shouldn't complain, but - ah well.

Just out of curosity am I one of the annoying noobs I ment to apolgises to Selene but she was banned for a week and there didn't seem to be a point when she was not here. By the way I never thought Theory of Relity was a puppet, I mean I randomly thought of a crazy conspircy theories where people created socks to agree with them and strengthen there point when I saw all these acusations but other than that all I did was accidently belive Ophiolite over Selene. If I am an annoying noob for some other reason tell me to.

Don't worry, Kenny. As long as you don't go running around making accusations about people you don't really know, it's fine. It's easy to get confused with many different people saying many different things, especially if some of them are joking but it's hard to tell. I for one am glad you're a member.
