As we journey from the beginning of time (The Monumental Poof), we are travelling at "some" speed. If we take Einstein's theory of the speed of light as an absolute, we must understand that zero speed is also an absolute. If we talk in terms of relativity, absolute zero speed must also be travelling at the speed of light...just in the other direction.
If one subscribes to the "Big Bang," then one must understand that there is a place from which it originated. This is what I will refer to as the "Space Hook."
If we are able to find that space, we would, in effect not only be able to travel at a speed of zero but, relatively speaking, be also able to travel at the speed of light itself.
Finding the "Space Hook" will no doubt be difficult if there is only one. One could speculate that, rather a single "bang" there could actually be many. There may not have been a single pebble cast into an infinite pond, but a whole handful.
"Space Hooks" may exist throughout the universe. We need find only one. |
