It seems like a lot of the problem with entitlements is that, once a person is on one, it's hard to move away from it. If you're on welfare and you start working again........ bam!!!!...... you lose the check.


What if, for every one dollar they made, they lose 50 cents of their check?

Then, they still benefit by working, even while they're on welfare. And, if their earned income ever got to be twice what their original check had been....... they will have naturally migrated out of the system.
