Since SG-1 got the technology of the Asgard and the ancient devices at Atlantis to which time travel is possible, has it actually surpassed the good old trek? What is cooler though, a supergate or transwarp drive, you see what I mean? I think in some ways the tech of Stargate has overtaken Star Trek, but Star Trek has always been meek about its tech anyway Wink.

I am a diehard Star Trek fan. I still get goosebumps everytime I here the theme music! I just hope they don't screw it up with the new movie...

You can look for it on wikpedia. Some good actors in it, but no Brent Spiner, Levar Burton, Gates Mcfadden, Michael Dorn, Johnathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis or Patric Stuart! It is supposed to be about James Tiberius Kirk and his to-be crew before the Enterprize.

I'll admit that when I was younger I was a technofile for Star-Trek. That said, has anyone examined any of the "technical" articles written by the Star Trek writers/technical-group? It's not hard to beat it. I recently found one of my ST:TNG technical guides, you know, the ones where they try to explain all the parts of the ship and such...and laughed my hind end off. I couldn't believe some of the stuff they put in the book. I would have been embarrassed to call it science-fiction. Razz

But that's just MOP.
