Could a sound wave be made to the right tune, that would cause your skin tingle or muscles to tighten up?

Some ultra low frequency sound waves have been known to make people nauseous. They've been used in haunted houses and things like that to enhance the feeling of "paranormal activity". I'm not sure of the exact frequencies, but maybe you can look into it?

I remember reading also that genuine research has been done into fairly high pitched frequencies that give the listener a feeling of euphoria...such frequencies as are used in euphoric dance music.

I'm not sure how genuine the research is for these things though.

So if I were to find the right frequency, than I could change the mood of someone?

If you're hoping to build a mood-changing machine and take over the world, then probably not, but certain sounds have been reported to cause some physical effects like I said above....but I'm not sure how well founded that is. It seem to remember reading somewhere that the low frequency sound waves having physical affects was indeed real.

Well I wasn't planning on taking over the world (thanks for the idea). What i was planning on is just a few moods Happy, Sad, Scared, Sexy(I don't know if that's one or not) and just playing them, putting them on my computer, tricking other people to listen to them for fun.

Haha Razz To my knowledge that isn't possible, or at least hasn't been discovered yet. The kind of thing I was talking about is called "infrasound", and is sound under audible frequencies:

Then again, there's always music.
