I've always wondered whether all people have the same 'ideal' temperature, or whether there are factors influencing this. So let's find out Wink

I've given a lot of options to make sure my assumptions don't interfere with the experiment. All numbers are in Celcius.

Please tell what option you chose for, whether you are male or female and whether you are from a cold, temperate or warm country. The reason for this is that I wonder whether these two factors influence your ideal temperature, or whether all human bodies simply have a certain optimum.

I can say one thing for sure the older you get the less you like the cold, your body does get a bit stiff and the aches and pains are worse.
So me= male, active, getting older with temperate climate, give me the heat any time

I meant to say 24-27 deg C

Interesting! Very Happy

My ideal temperature is between 21-24 degrees (probably 22 or 23). I'm male and I'm from a temperate climate.

My favoured temperature is around 25C/77F or slightly cooler. I also prefer sunny weather, but I enjoy an odd downpour too.

I don't think it is possible (for me) to answer this accurately without defining:

a) Character of clothing
b) Wind speed
c) Humidity

It will also be contingent upon time of day relative to ones biological clock; time since last meal, and nature of last meal; character of immediate environment, including presence of vegetation, colours, etc.

In brief, I suspect our ideal temperature varies significantly over time.

I prefer feezing cold weather where its just really snowy and cold, minus the freezing cold wind in the ears. Though I also like it when its 75 and sunny and no humidity. but Sadly I live in the weater hell of the world, and its usually 110 plus 110$ humidity or flooding.
