The number you chose would most probably have been either 4 or 7 but most likely to be 7. _________________ The hand of time rested on the half-hour mark, and all along that old front line of the English there came a whistling and a crying. Actually I was thinking of picking 3.41729 but it aint there!
ALso why have you printed 1 and 10 if the number we pick is to be between these two? - was that the trick?

It says pick a number between 1 and 10
1<x<10
But you included 1 and 10, they are not part of it _________________

| Well the name of the topic says to pick an integer at random. 4 and 7 shouldn't be any more likely than any other. |

| Well selecting a number based on what you feel like picking isn't really random. |

| I saw the first post (suggesting 4 and 7) before I made my choice, so I think it influenced me. And mentioning the numbers 1 and 10 in the poll title can also influence people. |

Curiously, I think 8 is a number that is usually picked by well-balanced, sensitive and intelligent people, that is it is full, and very symetrical.
Does that match your description, ? |
