1) The size and shape of a substance do not affect its physical state at a given temperature and pressure.

2) As pressure increases, boiling point increases.

3) As temperature increases, resistance of a semiconductor* decreases.

4) Most changes are plottable on a graph. Draw a mini-graph of this relationship.

5) The universe began with a big explosion-"the big bang". It is 13.7 billion years old.

*For metallic conductors, resistance generally increases with temperature. Also the density of water increases when the temperature increases form 0°C to 4°C.
