How stringent are admissions into a Masters/Ph.D program? For example, if I took a degree in Environmental Science, could I take a Master of Conservation Biology? Does the Bachelor and Master have to have the same name?

Would it wiser to take Bachelor's in Conservation Biology, or go to a wider course first, like Bachelor's in Environmental Science?

Every varsity has their own requirements - you need to ask the faculties in question or consult your rule book.
