Well, I was pondering about different things in my life the other night
when I couldn't fall asleep(even though it was like 4am... :/)...

Anyways, somehow I came by to think about the concept of luck that
we usually like to take for granted.

I thought to meself; how can I improve my luck and how to even start reffering to it...
Then I somehow came to realise that luck = perception skill.

It's because if you'll have uber perception skillz and will notice, hear and
smell every bird
on the sky, every tree and every car on the streetz when you go outsite
your luck will be much much MUCH gr8ter.

What do ya guys think about my past midnight theory?

p.s. sorry for the split ends, but I'm too tired to think straight.. :/
+ I had a beer, so my mind should be clearer... but for some reason it isnt... Confused

Sounds like an interessting theory, and I agree with you in the sense you made above, but when I talk about luck, I“m usually talking about winning the lottery and such.

Psh. If you improved your extrasensory perception skillz, you'd win the lottery.

If luck is nothing but random chance, which I think is the most commonly accepted definition, then I don't think it's possible to improve upon luck. In Pikkhaud's specific example of the lottery, you can improve your chances by buying more than one lottery ticket. But the fact that you bought more tickets isn't luck, because you did that on purpose. So I don't think that counts.

Higher perception will allow you to function better in a given environment - to a certain degree. If you start perceiving every little thing that exists and occurs around you, you'll overload your brain with information and you'll end up very confused and will function worse.
