LASIK is a surgical technique intended to reduce a person's dependency on glasses or contact lenses. LASIK stands for Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis and is a procedure that permanently changes the shape of the cornea, the clear covering of the front of the eye, using an excimer laser. A knife, called a microkeratome, is used to cut a flap in the cornea. A hinge is left at one end of this flap. The flap is folded back revealing the stroma, the middlesection of the cornea. Pulses from a computer-controlled laser vaporize a portion of the stroma and the flap is replaced.

No I'm serious, she did have it done. Oh yeah I just noticed I unpurposfully just supported the spammer, ahahahahaha. Is that a good thing? Have I helped someone and not realised it? Or was it not me that helped someone and someone helping someone else through me? Confused

Don't worry, SV, your endorsement isn't likely to help him much Very Happy One example of a successful operation doesn't prove much. This is strictly an elective procedure to elimnate or reduce the inconvenience of glasses. It has the potential of leaving you blinded or needing eye drops for your dry eye syndrome if not done properly. If I were having it done. and I wouldn't, but if I were, I wouldn't use a quack that has to spam the internet to drum up business.

FWIW, I had Lazik five weeks ago: went from a 9 diopter to 20-20: in my opinion, it is nothing short of a miracle.
