I came across a clip on youtube the other day, according to this clip, the generator these two australian folks invented produces 5 times as much power as is put in;
I was just curious what you folks thought of it
On a sidenote, I haven't looked for a thread similar to this, so if it's been posted before, sorry >.>

| Inspiring! I want to invent an electromagetic device that generates by feedback through a home power meter. You'd see the meter running in reverse as proof. |

| That is either a fake news clip or there are some very, very gullible news reporters in Austrailia. |

Whenever you hear of claims like this you have to ask yourself: Where is the energy coming from? It has to come from somewhere, somewhere that can be depleted, since there is no such thing as an infinite energy source. Also, cinsider the amount of energy that was stored in this source before hand, as well as the amount of energy expended in making this source. It is like the batteries in your remote control; much more energy was expended in producing the battery than you can ever get out of any of them. _________________ "Gullibility kills" - Carl Sagan |

Actually, if it really were true I'd expect a murder report by now, so I don't think it's that likely to really exist either. _________________ The wonderful thing about escalators is that they cannot break. They can only become stairs. |
