This strange phenomenon is causing bees to disappear. Even Haagen Daaz made a video to promote awareness...

I've always found Big Girl's Blog to be a reliable source of (scientific) information on the honey bee situation.

Whatever it is, should spread rapidly as we now truck colonies through busy pollinating circuits, all around the continent.

Apparently it's gotten really bad in Europe, it's just starting to hit North America though.

There are places in China that have no bees already, but it is due to air pollution and not related to CCD. The cost to agriculture would be exponential if we lost polinators.

I've seen listless bees apparently dying on sidewalks, more than seems natural, wondered what that was about.

I'm afraid that as the price of pollination escalates, practically all bees will be trucked (in NA most already are) for desperation/profit and this disease will have relentless access to even dwindling populations.

If virus breaks out in a hospital, and we insist on touring the infected through other hospitals, what happens?
