I've just finished a book by Dawkins, Im now feel I have exhausted my interest in evolution for the moment but could anyone recommend a good book on the human brain/mind. I heard of Steve Pinkstons book but thought that might be largely ut of date by now.

I would strongly recommend Phantoms in the Brain: Probing the Mysteries of the Human Mind by V.S. Ramachandran.

I'm about to start reading it for a second time. The book was both informative and entertaining and it covers many neurological topics that range from phantom limbs to synesthesia and it gives the reader a good understanding of how the brain works.

I'm still open to suggestions but that does look like what I'm looking for, thank you very much!

Very Happy

This is no time to be modest. Try here:

Named a 'recommended resource for science fiction' by Writers' Digest in 2005, and again in 2007.
