Tricky ethics, maybe. But since they're pointing out that it is, these days, much more manageable than it used to be - for both mother and child, I'm inclined to go with my laissez-faire style: "Woman's body, woman's choice." |

| Well if those women can pay for all the costs they incur.. In a European welfare state society would have to pick up the bill, which I think would go too far. |

| I think its selfish beyond belief. When you are a parent you are supposed to put the child first. Risking your child's health just so you can be a Mom is selfish. She wants to be a Mom? She can adopt an HIV+ baby. |

So why should anyone get angry at poor people who, have same rights that healthy people to have a child.
They should be helped and treated and given condoms and teached about how to get pregnant without cointaminating their offspring. |

And that is that they remove one egg, that has not been affected with hiv/aids (if that is possible to check), in a testtube with spermie.
And that someone else carry it.
But they must ofcourse be 100% sure it has no trace of hiv/aids in that egg she donated. |
