| I don't doubt the existence of global warming and it angers me when someone tells me it doesn't exist, but here's some food for thought. I'm making very rough estimates because I'm not qualified to state such factual information, but I learned that there was a very slow and gradual decrease in the earth's temperature over the last several of centuries until the later part of the 20th century when cars were omnipresent. Why didn't people freak out then and think the world was coming to an ice age? |

Lack of research and data, if they knew more perhaps they would have freaked out. Your statement only makes global warming sound worse, by that accord not only did we make the temperature stabilize from falling, we made it rise. Hmm. |

| I know, pretty sad huh? I'm not really sure if global warming can even be debated anymore. There's just too much evidence that shows we are killing earth. |

True, even the bush administration has stopped trying to hide it under the carpet. Now we just have to figure out how to fix the problem, somehow I doubt it's too late. I also don't think we have a lot of time to waste. |

True and worth remembering, but the correlative evidence for global wrming is considerable, and the evidence goes beyond correlative and into the realm of predictive, which makes it hard to deny.
There is also some evidence that our excessive carbon releases have indeed saved us from going into another ice age. Thank goodness for sheer luck. That doesn't mean we are still headed in the right direction though.

Yes...it is a conspiracy by petroleum companies to get rid of competition...get these greenies and hippies behind environmental groups to lobby the government to maintain their monopoly by not allowing the building of new refineries and constrict supply...also the uneconomical production of bio fuels...which guess what? Cost 2-4 times more, even use fossil fuels in their production and still produce CO2
