Think about this; what if, in the future, we discover that society can live within relative fluidity without religion and just because of religion and religion's Gods society was not functioning properly.

WHAT IF RELIGION WAS CAUSING SOCIETY TO FUNCTION IMPROPERLY

What if it was? The human race is far from working properly anyway. In fact, what is the proper way the human race's society is anyway?

That of course is the question...

I have thought about it for a long time... and I begin to wonder if people will ever function with one another... I really should not single out religion because as you pointed out we are far from working properly. Religion however is such a focal point of my mind because of what i see around me that I just immediately bring that up.

I really wanted to bring up the idea that society could possibly obtain a state of fluidity.

However I have also thought about certain factors which prohibit that. Mainly that every human is slightly different from the next one and as I have come to realize variation causes destruction. Not just in society but in nature as well. It is like institutions of society are merely safeguards. People with similar ideals protect themselves until a foreign threat is extinguished and then that institution eventually dissolves allowing the slight differences between those originally in the institution to form new institutions which can combat themselves.... or something like that.

Basically we all have the desire(whether conscious or not) to eliminate difference. This just exaggerates itself with all the different ongoings of civilization.

We are flowing. It is just a pretty viscous fluid.
