They seem to indicate that mass in the form of new quarks is generated when the distances become too great between them and the gluons are no longer an effective means of confinement. Doesn't this go against the laws of thermodynamics? or is energy borrowed from the initial particle collision to do this? _________________ Forget all that you know, achievements can only be accomplished by starting from nothing and selectively applying facts that are purely objective and absolutely necessary.
